Biografía:
Vocalista inglés (1932-1985),destacó por su elegancia al cantar y su cálida y poderosa voz.
Siguió la estela de los grandes crooners americanos de los 40 y 50: Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin o Perry Como. Sus mayores éxitos fueron en la segunda mitad de los 60, cabría destacar entre todos "born free" y "softly as I leave you". La primera era la canción principal de la película del mismo nombre.
