Biografía:
Matt Elliott ha seguido un camino realmente atípico. Solía crear bajo el pseudónimo The Third Eye Foundation – emblemática figura de la escena electrónica inglesa reconocida por su especial electro teñido de drum’n’bass. Pero desde su primer álbum con su propio nombre ‘The Mess We Made’ (Domino, 2003), Elliott viró hacia composiciones mucho más folk, abandonando el teclado y las máquinas hasta hacerlas casi desaparecer para volver a los instrumentos tradicionales (guitarra, piano, violín...).
