Biografía:
Marine Girls eran un grupo post-punk de Hatfield, Hertfordshire. Fue formado en 1980 por 2 amigas de colegio: Tracey Thorn y Gina Hartman. Originalmente, Thorn tocaba la guitarra y Gina era la vocalista y percursionista. Más adelante se agregarían a la banda Jane Fox como bajista y su hermana menor Alice Fox en coros y batería. El grupo se termina separando en 1983. Tracey Thorn obtendría éxito siendo parte del duo Everything But The Girl, mientras que las hermanas Fox formarían la banda Grab Grab The Haddock.
