Biografía:
Kurt Vile es un guitarrista y cantante de Filadelfia . Se inició como guitarrista en la banda The war on drugs y tiene también una floreciente carrera como solista.
Firmó contrato con Matador Records en mayo de 2009 como artista en solitario.
Su música ha sido comparada con Bruce Springsteen, Bob Seger y Tom Petty . Su primer álbum para Matador Records se titula "Childish Prodigy" y el segundo "Smoke Ring For My Halo".
