This song isn't released yet. Isaac has played it live a number of times. When I saw him he said the song was dedicated to his father. I guess I figured out the chords from this video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gUxWdBzdwC8 Incredibly simple song but incredibly beautiful.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------- Standard Tuning
During the, [Cadd9 G] part, Isaac occasionally throws in a hammer on the A and D (watch the video for correct placement).
Capo 2nd Fret
Cadd9GEm7 Happiness Cadd9G is just outside my window Cadd9GEm7 Would it crash Cadd9G blowing 80-miles an hour? Cadd9GEm7 Or is happiness Cadd9G a little more like knocking Cadd9GEm7 On your door, Cadd9G and you just let it in?
Cadd9GEm7 Cadd9G
Cadd9GEm7 Happiness Cadd9G feels a lot like sorrow Cadd9GEm7 Let it be, Cadd9G you can’t make it come or go Cadd9GEm7 But you are gone- Cadd9G not for good but for now Cadd9GEm7 Gone for now Cadd9G feels a lot like gone for good
Cadd9GEm7 Happiness Cadd9G is a firecracker sitting on my headboard Cadd9GEm7 Happiness Cadd9G was never mine to hold Cadd9GEm7 Careful child, Cadd9G light the fuse and get away Cadd9GEm7 ‘Cause happiness Cadd9G throws a shower of sparks
Cadd9GEm7 Cadd9G
Cadd9GEm7 Happiness Cadd9G damn near destroys you Cadd9GEm7 Breaks your faith Cadd9G to pieces on the floor Cadd9GEm7 So you tell yourself, Cadd9G that’s probably enough for now Cadd9GEm7 Happiness Cadd9G has a violent roar
Cadd9GEm7 Cadd9G x2
Cadd9GEm7 Happiness Cadd9G is like the old man told me Cadd9GEm7 Look for it, Cadd9G but you’ll never find it all (Isaac stops playing here and just sings but you can keep the guitar going) Cadd9GEm7 But let it go, Cadd9G live your life and leave it (And then he starts back up here) Cadd9GEm7 Then one day, Cadd9G wake up and she’ll be home Cadd9GEm7 Home, Cadd9G Cadd9GEm7 home, Cadd9G Cadd9GEm7 home Cadd9G
Like I said, incredibly simple. I hope it sounds correct.
