The Flys were an American post-grunge group, formed in Hollywood in 1994 and now on indefinite hiatus as of 2002. They had success with the 1998 top five hit, "Got You (Where I Want You)", the video for which featured Katie Holmes from the hit TV show Dawson's Creek. "Got You (Where I Want You)" was featured on their debut album "Holiday Man" in 1998 and also appeared on the soundtrack for the 1998 MGM film Disturbing Behavior, which starred Katie Holmes.

The Flys are an early punk band with a sound similar to 999 and the buzzcocks, they're CD's are hard to find but this song can be found on the punk: the worst of total anarchy compilation albums
----------------------------------------------------------------- Love and A Molotov Cocktail - Flys ----------------------------------------------------------------- Tabbed by: Dillon Email: [email protected]
Tuning:Standard
O.K. This tab is going to go a little different than you're used to. This song is played in full chords (except for the riff) so it is easier to just list all the chords used and then put them in the order played for the verse and the chorus. The list of chords and how to play them is at the bottom of this document. They're all barre chords.
Intro and Main Riff: e|---------------------------------------------------------------| B|---------------------------------------------------------------| G|----4------6---------------------------------------------------| D|----2----0-4-0-------------------------------------------------| A|---------------------------------------------------------------| E|-030--030------------------------------------------------------|
For the verse each chord is strummed string by string downstroke and only once each then it rests for a few beats and then plays the next chord.
Verse: EBDA (Play 4 times)
For the chorus the chords aren't strummed slowly like the verse. You can figure out the strumming pattern and how many times to play the chords yourself, its really easy.
