Biografía:
Texas es un grupo escocés encabezado por la cantante Sharleen Spiteri. Fue fundado por Johnny McElhone y tomó su nombre de la película "Paris, Texas" (Wim Wenders, 1984). Su estilo musical abarca desde el "blues rock" de su primer álbum "Southside" (1989), pasando por el "blue eyed soul" de "White on Blonde" (1997) hasta el "disco pop" de su álbum más reciente, "Red Book" (2005).
Sharleen Spiteri (voz, guitarra), Ally McErlaine (guitarra), Johnny McElhone (bajo) han sobrevivido a todos los cambios efectuados en el grupo.
