Biografía:
Tenacious D (tambien conocida como The D) es un grupo de rock satírico compuesta por los musicos y actores Kyle Gass (tambien conocido como KG o Rage Kage) y Jack Black (JB o Jables). Son conocidos por su rock clasico mezclado con letras comicas. La banda ganó fama en 1999, gracias a su programa televisivo de mismo nombre.
En sus dos albumes la bateria está tocada por Dave Grohl (de Nirvana, Foo Fighters y Them Crooked Vultures).
Jack Black conoció a Kyle Gass cuando el primero tenía 16 años y el segundo 24, en los Angeles (1985).
