Biografía:
Sweet era una banda de rock formada en Inglaterra en 1965 con el nombre de Wainwright's Gentlemen, hasta 1968 despúes de algunos cambios de integrantes cambiaron su nombre al actual.
A principios de 1965 el baterista Mick Tucker y el vocalista Ian Gillan tocaban una mezcla de R&B y Psycodelia en algunos clubs del Reino Unido. En Mayo de este año Gillan se retira para formar la banda Episode Six, y despúes formó parte de Deep Purple. En su remplazo llego a la banda en 1966 Brian Francis Connolly.
