Biografía:
Splender é uma banda de rock melódico com um estilo musical com letras e melodias similares à banda dos anos 90 Gin Blossoms.
Waymon Boone (guitarrista, vocalista e compositor) e o baixista James Cruz formaram o quarteto Splender em 1997. A banda de Nova York passou por várias mudanças, até escolherem o baterista Marc Slutsky depois de ter respondido à um anuncio no jornal Village Voice e o guitarrista Jonathan Svec.
