Shawn Peter Raul Mendes, mejor conocido como Shawn Mendes, es un cantautor y guitarrista canadiense nacido el 8 de Agosto del 1998 en Toronto (Canadá).
Shawn saltó a la fama por sus covers de 6 segundos en su cuenta de Vine "Shawn Mendes".
Se creó su cuenta de YouTube en Enero de 2011 pero hasta Junio de 2012 no subió su primera cover de Hometown Glory de Adele.
En Septiembre de 2013 empezó a ir de gira con un grupo de Viners con la gira llamada "MAGCON Tour" creada por Bart Bordelon
