Biografía:
Semisonic se formo en Minneapolis en 1995. Los integrantes Dan Wilson, John Munson y Jacob Slichter, venían de otras bandas pero en ese año se unieron y firmaron con el sello Elektra, con la mala suerte de que a mitad de la producción de su primer álbum la discografica despidió al equipo de producción y el álbum solo alcanzó para lanzar un EP titulado Pleasure que no fue lo que el grupo esperaba. Su segundo trabajo, Great Divide, se grabó ya con la discografica MCA en el 96, tampoco este trabajo tuvo mayor éxito.
