Weezer es una banda de rock alternativo procedente de Los Angeles, Estados Unidos, y liderada por Rivers Cuomo. Se formaron el Día de San Valentín de 1992 y hasta la fecha han publicado 7 álbumes de estudio, han vendido 8 millones de discos en EE.UU.
El grupo se formó el 14 de febrero de 1992 en Los Ángeles, por Rivers Cuomo (voz y guitarra), Matt Sharp (bajo), Patrick Wilson (batería) y Jason Cropper (guitarra). A las cinco semanas dieron su primer concierto, teloneando a Dogstar, la banda del actor Keanu Reeves.
