VERSE: CG Well it seems as though D We've been foolin' each other again G And I can't find out D Really who is to blame G But from what I've heard D We didn't try for another name
AD Do kings and queens always end up so lame AD Do singers and poets always have to explain
CHORUS: GD Just please just leave me so you won't put me down GD Just please leave me so I won't have to drown GDCC Just please leave me so you won't let me down
VERSE: G Well your picture in my room D Hs been drivin' me insane G And thoughts of you leavin' D Have been a'crawlin' all around my brain G And hopes of you stayin' D Have just flushed down the drain
AD When lovers die does it leave so much pain AD Take a hammer to break away the chain
CHORUS: GD Just please just leave me so you won't put me down GD Just please leave me so I won't have to drown GDCC Just please leave me so you won't let me down
