Biografía:
Thirsty Merc es una banda de pop rock, formada en el 2002 en Dubbo, Australia por Rai Thistlethwayte (voz), Phil Stack (bajo), Karl Robertson (batería), y Sean Carey (guitarra). Actualmente residen en Sydney.
El debut de la banda, First Work, hizo que Warner Music Australia pusiera sus ojos en ellos desde entonces han publicado 2 discos con el sello, Thirsty Merc y Slideshows.
A la fecha han realizado tours alrededor de Australia y Nueva Zelanda, incluyendo un tour con el grupo neozelandés Evermore.
