Biografía:
The Wannadies es un grupo de rock alternativo formado en Skellefteå, norte de Suecia, en 1988.
Originalmente la banda estaba compuesta por Pär Wiksten (voz, guitarras), Christina Bergmark (teclados, voz), Stefan Schönfeldt (guitarras) y su hermano menor Fredrik Schönfeldt (bajo) con Gunnar Karlsson (batería) y Björn Malmquist (violín).
Nacen bajo la influencia de grupos como The Go Betweens y Sisters Of Mercy.
El éxito les llega con el single You and Me Song del disco "Be a Girl, 1994.
