Biografía:
The Kobra And The Lotus es una banda canadiense de Heavy Metal al más puro estilo de la NWOBHM. Son musicalmente similares a bandas como Iron Maiden, los primeros Iced Earth y Dio.
La banda se formó a finales de 2008, por la cantante Paige Kobra y los guitarristas Matt Van Wezel y Chris Swenson. El trío comenzó a grabar sus primeras canciones en Calgary, producidos por Godovitz Greg (Goddo). Más tarde, se agregó al baterista Griffin Kissack en mitad de la grabación de "Out of the pit".
