Biografía:
JJAMZ surgiu em Los Angeles, num clube de karaokê, por volta de 2009, quando os amigos James Valentine (Maroon 5), Jason Boesel ( Rilo Kiley / Conor Oberst ), Alex Greenwald (Phantom Planet), Runion Michael (solo), e Z Berg ( The Like ) decidiram se refugiar de suas respectivas bandas, e montar um projeto paralelo que até então, seria uma temporária válvula de escape. O nome do grupo indie (pronunciado Juh-Jamz), deriva da inicial de cada um dos integrantes. Suicide Pact, o disco de estreia da banda foi lançado em julho de 2012.
