From Live at Longview, there's a second guitar with him and a bass makes it sound amazing. Nice crisp 4/4,
apparently he wrote this for his daughter, feel free to correct me. I think the G to Em in the chorus is
wrong but I can't find what I'm missing, may be it's a variation of Em of some sort.
[Intro]
C G F C
[Verse]
C G
If I knew which way to go, I would hold you in my arms again,
F C
i'd find the winding road again, that leads back to you.
G
And those ruby mountain storms, they cant keep me from you anymore,
F C
high centered on the desert floor, so far from you.
[Chorus]
Am Em F
I see you in my dreams, I see you in the rain, those smoky gray eyes, i'm so afraid
Am G
I'll never see you again.
C G Em Am
I will hold you in my arms, if it takes until the end of time, and I pray that you still wait for me,
F G C (cuase I know)
somewhere in the Rubies tonight.
[Chorus]
F G C
Somewhere in the Rubies tonight.
