Biografía:
House of lords fue creado en a finales de 1987, de la mano del teclista de Giuffria y Angel, Gregg Giuffria.
La banda estaba bajo la mirada del bajista de KISS, Gene Simmons. Quien llegó con el nombre para el grupo y con un contrato para el sello Bmg.
Giuffria había intentado grabar el tercer disco de la banda del mismo nombre, pero al reunirse con Simmons, en el aniversario del sello Atlantic, luego de haber tocado con Vanilla fudge, le mostró el demo. A Simmons le gustó el sonido de la banda, pero no la voz de David Glen Eisley.
