Biografía:
Al crecer en la década de los 60, Juice Newton se empapó del revival de la música folk. Con talento para la guitarra, heredado de su madre, se trasladó a California para ir a la universidad. En esa época había una floreciente escena musical folk con figuras tan notables como Joni Mitchell. Juice Newton empezó a actuar con el guitarrista Otha Young y ambos realizaron una serie de álbumes para diferentes sellos discográficos. Juice finalmente dio su gran paso grabando canciones a caballo entre el pop y el country.
