La inglesa Helen Shapiro Kate (nacida el 28 de septiembre de 1946) fue además de cantante, actriz. En 1961, a la edad de catorce años, tuvo dos número uno de éxitos en el Reino Unido: "You Don't Know" y "Walkin' Back to Happiness".
Protagonizó una película de 1962 llamada "It´s Trad, Dad!" escrita y producida por Milton Subotsky, el creador en 1956 de "Rock, Rock, Rock". Helen también interpretó dos canciones en "Play It Cool", protagonizada por Billy Fury.
