A banda foi formada em 2003, após o vocalista Bryan Crouch abandonar a escola. Hail the Villain era originalmente chamada de Farenheit em 2003. Os membros da banda Bryan Crouch, Joseph Stamp, Drew Dockrill e Chad Taylor atrairam o público eclético com sua marca única de Hard Rock e Heavy Metal. No início de 2006 mudaram o nome da banda para Hail The Villain.
