Biografía:
Liderados por el guitarrista/compositor/cantante TS (Tony) McPhee, los Groundhogs durante un tiempo fueron muy populares en Gran Bretaña, metiendo tres álbumes en el Top Ten de ese país en los años 70. Las raíces de los Groundhogs se remontan a mediados de los 60, cuando McPhee ayudó a formar el grupo, dandole el nombre de una canción de John Lee Hooker (la banda también fue conocida brevemente como John Lee's Groundhogs). De hecho, acompañaron a Hooker en un registro un tanto oscuro.
