Cub Country began in the late 1990s as a side project for then Jets to Brazil bassist, Jeremy Chatelain. Chatelain was interested in creating a sound closer to blues/country/Americana, quite different from his previous projects, Jets to Brazil and Handsome. While the timbre of the music and the vocals are different from his previous projects, the poetic quality of his lyrics will be familiar to fans of Handsome and the first Iceburn 7".
Cub Country's first release came in the form of 2000's Castle Goldshins EP.

Tabbed by BK. [email protected] if you've got questions or comments. Listen to the song for the rythm. Everything here is right and where it should be.
E there was a time when you were mine AE i thought you were mine, there was a time. E we would go on, out in the sunshine AE we talk on for hours, and forget the time E the stars always shone, over our bed at night AE and made you look just right, every night
AE we wished for things, and swore theyd come true ABA we made some plans to follow through E me and you
E when i looked to you i knew i love you AE and i was so sure about it, when i looked to you E time brought on tears, you went away AE through all my fears, i thought i could stay
AE we wished for things, that never came true. ABA we made some plans, that fell through E on me and you
ABEA autumn leaves blow around me BEA i see your ghost, pass from tree to tree BE theres noone here with me.
E now i walk alone, on such a perfect day AE i think of a time, and smile on your face E cause i thought i knew, so much about you AE and you knew me so well too
AE we wished for things i thought we could do ABAE now i want to know you love me anyway ABAE yea i want to know you love me anyway
