Confederate Railroad é uma banda de música country fundada em 1987 em Marietta, Georgia, Estados Unidos. Tem como componentes originais: Danny Shirley (vocais), Michael Lamb (guitarra), Mark Dufresne (bateria), Chris McDaniel (teclado), Gates Nichols (steel guitar, dobro) e Wayne Secrest (baixo). Após servir como banda de acompanhamento de David Allan Coe, a banda assinou um contrato com Atlantic Records, lançando seu primeiro album homônimo naquele mesmo ano. Por todos os anos 90 eles lançaram mais quatro albuns pela Atlantic.
