Christopher Anthony John Martin (Devon, Reino Unido, 2 de marzo de 1977), cantante, compositor, guitarrista y pianista, líder de la banda inglesa Coldplay. Su registro de voz es de barítono y es muy frecuente en él el uso del falsetto o falsete. Es conocido además por su activismo en campañas en favor del comercio justo y en contra de la pobreza y el hambre en el mundo.
Nace en la ciudad de Devon, Inglaterra, el 2 de marzo de 1977. Su madre, Alison, es profesora y su padre, Anthony, es contador.
