El veterano vocalista de rock Burton Cummings saltó a la fama con la banda canadiense The Guess Who, la canción "These Eyes" es uno de los clásicos inmortales de la música popular.

En 1964, The Guess Who le probó a la juventud del Canadá que sus grupos podían tener canciones exitosas, no solo en su país, también en todo el mundo.
