Becca nació en Portland, Oregon un 9 de Mayo de 1989. Ella comienza cantando y escribiendo canciones muy joven. Empezó a tocar guitarra a los 10 años. Durante sus años de escuela estaba muy activa en lo que era coro y actuación. A los 13 años, un amigo de la familia la inscribió en un concurso de coro en la escuela.
