Biografía:
Charles Arthur Russell Jr. (b. 1952 en Iowa), trabajó bajo el nombre Arthur Russell y a veces Dinosaur L. Fue una figura en la escena ya mítica de Nueva York de los 80 y 90, trabajando tanto en la música vanguardista como en las escenas de disco, rock y no-wave. Un hombre de muchos talentos, tenia una formación tradicional en el cello y formación la música clásica hindú, además fue compositor, cantante, productor y un mitad del sello Sleeping Bag Records.
