Pitchfork: Did you get to meet Eazy-E when you were a little kid?
PG: I never met Eazy because that was before my day. But I met a bunch of people. I met Snoop and Dre and
Eminem and random people like Peanut Butter Wolf-- whoever happened to be in the office that day. It was
super cool growing up. My parents were OK with me playing all this dirty rap. I don't think other kids'
parents were so happy when they came over and I would be like, "Oh hey, here is a copy of the new Geto Boys
album." But regardless, it was pretty fun growing up with that stuff. When I was in high school, I was
really into rap. I don't know; maybe I'll start a rap career after Active Child is over.
