EmD Far away from home EmD And everyone I really know EmD All at once I find CEmD I'm a stranger even to myself EmD And like the snow that's falling EmD I've never been so pure before EmDC Christiania, before I leave you EmD You'll leave a mark on me
EmD I like the way you smile EmD I like the way you try too hard EmD And in my heart this moment CEmD I like the way you seem to read my mind
EmD And what would I not say EmD To be in that room again EmD If only for one moment C That you would hold me EmDC In your tiny hand, and I might say EmC Tomorrow I could find you, and you might take EmC Something that I thought I could never give away FEm If just to think I've something more to show
GDBCEmD (x2) (play Em before the G)
EmD And as I touch the sky EmD I feel the space I've left behind EmD So carry me back home CEmD Out on my own, I, like in a living dream EmD And all the lights of London EmD Are like a million reproachful eyes EmDC Tomorrow I'll be walking a different city EmD Beneath a different sky
EmD And what would I not say EmD If we were in that room again EmD If only for one lifetime C You would take me EmDC In your tiny hand, to a place Em Where I know that I can find you C To a place, EmC Where everything I've done and I've done has gone away FEm If just to show me something I don't know
