Biografía:
El verdadero nombre de Kid Rock es Robert James Ritchie y nació en el pequeño pueblo de Romeo, Michigan, el 17 de enero de 1971, creció escuchando los principios del hip-hop como the Fat Boys y Run DMC, así como iconos de Detroit como Bob Seger y los MC5.para 1990 estaba grabando su primer álbum "Grits Sandwiches For Breakfast", despues acompañó a gente como Ice Cube y Geto Boys en un tour nacional.
En 1993, Rock se asoció con Continuum Records y grabó su segundo esfuerzo llamado "The Polyfuze Method"
