Kellie Dawn Pickler nació el 28 de Junio de 1986 y es originaria de Nueva Orleans. Esta nativa de Lousiana, US, terminó en el sexto lugar de la quinta temporada del programa de television American Idol.
Lanzó su disco debut, Small Town Girl, a finales del 2006, del que se desprenden sus sencillos 'Red High Heels' la cual co-escribió, 'I Wonder' tema personal que escribió acerca de su madre quien la abandonó al cuidado de su padre a la edad de 2 años, y 'Things That Never Cross A Man’s Mind'.
