Aclamado desde la pequeña ciudad de Moscow , Idaho, las canciones de Josh Ritter son un extraño regalo de belleza natural, intuitiva. Nacido a finales de los 70 de padres neurocientíficos, Josh se compró su primera guitarra en el K-Mart tras escuchar el clásico de Bob Dylan y Johnny Cash “Girl From the North Country”. Comenzó en el Oberlin College con la intención de seguir los pasos de sus padres científicos, pero en su lugar se descubrió componiendo la música de artistas como Gillian Welch, Townes Van Zandt y Leonard Cohen.
