Jackie DeShannon (nacida como Sharon Lee Myers el 21 de agosto de 1944 en Hazel, Kentucky) es una cantautora norteamericana con una serie de canciones de éxito desde los sesenta hasta ahora. Fue una de las primeras cantautoras femeninas del período del rock and roll.
Sharon Myers adoptó el nombre de Jackie Shannon haciendo creer que sería el nombre de una antepasada irlandesa. La dirección de Liberty Records pensó que el nombre de Sharon Myers no ayudaría a vender discos.
