Biografía:
Oriundo de Long Beach, California, el cantautor Greg Laswell se fue a San Diego para estudiar en la Universidad, donde muy pronto terminó por involucrarse en la escena musical local. Tocó en la banda Shillglen y fundó All the Rest Records, cuando se retiró del negocio en 2004, después comenzó con 20 Inch Records, donde trabajó como productor. En 2003, Laswell lanzó su primer álbum como solista, Good Move, con el cual sólo cosechó elogios de la crítica local y 3 años después de su Vanguard Debut
