Biografía:

Franz Ferdinand es una banda de rock formada en Glasgow (Escocia) en 2001.

El grupo escocés toma su nombre del archiduque austrohúngaro Francisco Fernando (Franz Ferdinand en alemán) cuyo asesinato fue la excusa final que llevaría a la Iª Guerra Mundial, la llamada Gran Guerra.

A finales de 2001, Bob estaba sentado en la cocina de Alex. Alex justo había recibido un bajo de parte de su amigo Mick Cooke (Belle & Sebastian), a condición que hiciera "algo útil" con él.
