Biografía:
Eithne Patricia Ní Bhraonáín, más conocida como Enya nació el 17 de mayo de 1961 en Gweedore, Donegal, Irlanda.
Perteneciente a una familia de músicos, en 1976 fue miembro del grupo Clannad y en 1982 se unió a Nicky y Roma Ryan con la intención de componer bandas sonoras para películas: el primer encargo importante fue para el documental británico The Celts. El éxito llegó con Watermark, que sentó el esquema general que iban a seguir todos sus discos.
