Biografía:
Empire of the Sun es un dúo procedente de Perth, Australia de música electrónica formado en 2007 por Luke Steele y Nick Littlemore. El nombre del dúo viene de la novela del mismo nombre del escritor J.G. Ballard publicada en 1984.
El primer sencillo, "Walking on a Dream", fue lanzado el 30 de agosto de 2008, obteniendo una buena recepción en las estaciones de radio australianas y alcanzando el puesto nº10 en la lista australiana de singles ARIA, llegando también a formar parte del Top Ten de iTunes.
