1) Banda formada por Ian MacKaye (vocalista), Mark Hampton (guitarra), Chris Bald (bajo) e Ivor Hanson (batería) en 1985 en Washington D.C., Estados Unidos. Se separaron un año después.
2) Embrace procede de la zona de Brighouse, al norte de Inglaterra; hasta la fecha han lanzado 5 álbumes, un álbum de singles y un recopilatorio de caras-B.
