It's called "Love Song" written by Lesley Duncan. Elton recorded
it for the "Tumbleweed Connection" album and re-recorded it
with Duncan singing backup for a live disc in the late '70s.

The words I have to say
Em9 Em7 A7
May well be simple but they're true
Em9 Em7
Until you give your love
Em9 Em7 A7
There's nothing more that we can do
[Chorus]
Em9 Em7 A7
Love is the opening door
Em9 Em7 A7
Love is what we came here for
Em9 Em7 A7
No one could offer you more
Em9 Em7 A7
Do you know what I mean?
Em9 Em7 A7
Have your eyes really seen?
Em9 Em7
You say it's very hard
Em9 Em7 A7
To leave behind the life we knew
Em9 Em7
But there's no other way
Em9 Em7 A7
And now it's really up to you
[Chorus]
Em9 Em7 A7
Love is the key we must turn
Em9 Em7 A7
Truth us the flame we must burn
Em9 Em7 A7
Freedom the lesson we must learn
Em9 Em7 A7
Do you know what I mean?
Em9 Em7 A7
Have your eyes really seen?
[Interlude]
