Como director de sonido y diseñador japones en Konami Digital Entertainment Co., Ltd., Akihiro Honda tuvo sus inicios en el mundo de la musica haciendo canciones para videojuegos.
"Metal Gear Solid: Portable Ops" es uno de sus mas conocidos trabajos con una pista arreglada "Calling to the night". "Zone of The Enders: The Second Runner (Anubis)" es otro de sus trabajos mas conocidos con la cancion del comienzo del juego "Jehuty - Vivid Transparency".
