Cherlyn Sarkisian (nacida en El Centro, California, Estados Unidos, el 20 de mayo de 1946), más conocida como Cher, es una cantante, actriz, compositora, diseñadora y productora estadounidense. Entre sus múltiples premios se encuentran: Óscar, Grammy, Emmy, Globo de Oro y un premio en el Festival de Cine de Cannes.
Denominada como Goddess of Pop (Diosa del Pop), Cher llegó a la fama en 1965, formando parte del dúo musical Sonny & Cher, junto con su ex esposo Sonny Bono. Posteriormente Cher se estableció como solista.
