Chantal Kreviazuk nació el 18 de mayo de 1973 en Winnipeg, Manitoba. Es una intérprete y pianista canadiense de música rock y pop. El primer álbum de Kreviazuk, Under These Rocks and Stones, se realizo en Canadá en 1996 y en Estados Unidos a principios de 1997. El álbum vendió mas de 100,000 copias en Estados Unidos, gracias a los sencillos “Surrounded” y “God Made Me”, mientras que en Canadá fue doble platino con ventas de mas de 200,000.
