Brian McKnight (Buffalo, Nueva York, 5 de junio de 1969) es un productor, compositor de canciones y cantante de R&B. Además es multi-instrumentalista ya que toca el piano, la guitarra electrica, acustica, electroacustica y la trompeta.
De pequeño cantaba en el coro de la iglesia y su hermano mayor Claude, era miembro del grupo musical Take 6. Brian firmó con Mercury Records a la temprana edad de 19 años, tras enviar maquetas suyas, en 1991 editó su primer disco, titulado "Brian McKnight".
