Hi there. Long time user, first time tabber. I couldn't find the exact chords to match
the lyrics to this melancholy
Brett Anderson song from his first solo album. Thanks to seifer_alamasy for the earlier
tab contribution. As a long time suede fan, I've always liked this song (and the
album it's from). It's easy to play and easy to sing along to as Brett channels Morrissey.
I'm not sure about the coda as it's just Brett singing over strings at the end, but this
is how I play it. Hope you enjoy it!
Am G F C
Nothing ever goes right, nothing really flows in my life?
Am G F C
No one really cares if no one ever shares my bed
?Am G F C
People push by with fear in their eyes in my life
Am G
Love is dead,
F C
Love is dead
Am G F C
The telephone rings, but no one ever thinks to speak to me?
Am G F C
The traffic speeds by, but no one's ever stopped here yet
Am G F C
Intelligent friends don't care in the end, believe me
Am G
Love is dead,
F C
Love is dead
G F C
And plastic people with imaginary smiles
G F C
?Exchanging secrets at the back of their minds
?G Gm
Plastic people, plastic people
Am G F C
Nothing ever goes right, nothing really flows in my life?
Am G F C
No one really cares if there’s horrors inside my head
Am G F C
People push by with fear in their eyes in my life
Am G
Love is dead,
F C
Love is dead?
Am G
Love is dead,
F C
Love is dead?
Am G
Love is dead,
F C
Love is dead
Am F C
And all the lies that you've given us
?Am F C
And all the things that you said
Am F C
And all the lies that you've given us
G C
?Blow like wind in my head
