Bread fue una banda de Rock/Pop de los años 1970 originada en Los Angeles, California, EUA.
Formado originalemnte en 1968, fue uno de los Grupos mas populares en los primeros años de la década de los años 1970s, uno de los primeros y mejores ejemplos de lo que más tarde sería catalogado como "soft rock", género consistente en un estilo de bien creadas melodías acústicas sobre todo a base de instrumentos de cuerdas.
