Blue Rodeo es una de las bandas más conocidas de Canadá, con más de trece discos a sus espaldas. Al contrario que paisanos ilustres como Neil Young, no ha tenido una gran repercusión en Estados Unidos ya pesar de lo cual han conseguido una gran repercusión en la historia de la música dentro y fuera de su Canada natal. Grupo de rock de amplio espectro, con muchas influencias y raíces comunes en el folk, desde su nacimiento en 1984 optaron por un estilo minoritario en un momento en el que el metal y el heavy dominaban la música.
