NOT WHAT YOU WANTED - Black Rebel Motorcycle Club Tabbed by: Lou Fabbrini ([email protected])
Intro: EAE
Verse: E You know you’ve got a lot to learn You feel it but your heart won’t burn A The fear is runnin’ every nerve E Your turning to the ones you’ve hurt Nothing ever satisfies You’re screamin’ but your tongue’s still tied A Starvin’ but your love won’t feed E Nothin’ ever sets you free
Pre-Chorus:
C#m You know you’ve got a long way down A You’ll feel it when you hit the ground
Chorus: E It’s not what you wanted B It’s not what you came here for A This place just leaves you cold EA Where nothing matters
Pinned inside the walls of sound Reachin’ but your hands are bound Cryin’ but your love’s so sweet Your singin’ but your heart still weeps
And no one ever seems to care Feels like she walks on air
It’s not what you wanted It’s not what you came here for This place just leaves you cold Where nothing matters
EAC#mA
EB I can’t wait for time to save us EA And I can’t break your fall forever EB ‘Cause you always take C#mBA You always take too much EB You always take C#mBA You always take too much
C#mA
E It’s not what you wanted A It’s not what you came here for C#m This place just leaves you cold E Where nothing matters It’s not what you wanted
It’s not what you came here for This place just leaves you cold, where nothing matters
